Can you imagine trying to keep it straight in your head the millions of boys and girls and what they should be getting? That's not too far of a stretch from expecting salespeople to somehow know from their catalog of hundreds/thousands/hundreds of thousands of items and what they should charge to close the deal, all without leaving money on the table.
If Santa had a solution like sales folks have in Pricing-as-a-Service, you wouldn’t see the elves questioning him and his CFO (Mrs. Claus) wondering what went wrong.
